Product Description

The newly upgraded Quick Mill Vetrano, the Vetrano Evo 2B is a semi-automatic espresso machine that has numerous features that make this machine one of Quick Mill’s best machines in their product mix. Some of the features include, a quiet rotary pump, a PID controller, commercial grade components, and, of course a double boiler! The features that are packed into this compact machine, along with the beautiful, luxurious design, make it one of the best available in the high end espresso machine market.

Below is a video overview of the Vetrano 2B by Chris' Coffee Service, our supply partner.

Double Boiler System for Brewing and Steaming

If you are going to make a significant investment in a high end espresso machine, you will definitely want a machine with a double boiler system. If you’ve ever used an espresso machine with a single boiler, you’ll know how inconvenient it can be, especially if you are in a hurry, or are making a lot of drinks at one time.

With the double boiler on the Vetrano 2B you’ll be able to brew and steam at the same time. Both are available on demand with no wait time in between. Both boilers have a lot of heating power behind them, especially for a 120 volt machine. The steaming boiler is powered with a 1100 watt heating element and the brewing boiler is powered with a 800 watt heating element. To protect the components in your valuable investment, both of the boilers are well insulated to prevent overheating.

Quiet Rotary Pump

Most home espresso machines are equipped with vibratory pumps. While there are a lot of high quality pumps on the market, they also tend to be quite noisy. If you don’t like noisy machines, you’ll love this machine. Rather than being equipped with a vibratory pump, the Vetrano 2B has a Fluid-O-Tech rotary vane pump – one of the quietest pumps available for a home espresso machine. Most machines that have these types of pumps are commercial machines costing many thousands more!

Pump pressure can be monitored through dual pressure gauges mounted on the front of the machine. If adjustment is needed, a screw on the rotary pump can be turned until the desired pressure is achieved.

Legendary E61 Brew Head

For ultimate temperature stability, the Quick Mill Vetrano 2B is equipped with one of the most loved brew heads on the market today, the legendary E61 group head. This is a commercial grade, high end brew group with a thermal siphon design that produces amazing espresso shots every time the machine is operated. For an enhanced operating experience, the machine has a pressure release valve and a three way bypass system that relieves pressure on the coffee puck and dries it out immediately after extraction. This provides for a drip free operating experience and allows for easy removal of the puck from the filter basket.

Direct Water Connection and Drain System Options

While the Vetrano 2B comes fully equipped with a high quality, 3 liter water reservoir, it also has the flexibility of having unlimited water supply through a direct water line connection option. With this option, you’ll never have to worry about adding water to your espresso machine again! The machine comes with the fittings needed for direct connection and making the connection is quite straight forward.

For additional convenience, the espresso machine even comes with the option to hookup to a drain system. However, if you don’t have a drain system available, not a problem! The espresso machine also comes with an easily accessible drip tray.

No Burn Stainless Steel Wands

As with other Quick Mill espresso machines, the Vetrano 2B comes with stainless steel wands that have advanced no burn technology. With this technology, the only part of the wand that gets hot is the tip. The rest of the wand has stainless steel exterior and a Teflon lined interior, allowing the exterior to remain cool to touch. With this feature you will have less risk of burning yourself and you won’t have to worry about milk getting burned onto the wand exterior.

One of the wands is a 4 hole steam wand that makes frothing and steaming quick and easy. The other wand is a hot water nozzle for making Americanos, hot chocolate, or hot tea.

Commercial Grade Construction Materials

For a classy look and durability, the Vetrano 2B has an exterior, including the shell, cup warmer, drip tray, and drain gate, made with high quality, 304 stainless steel . Stainless steel is easy to clean and is resistant to acid stain and rust, providing you with a machine that looks great and will last for years to come.

Commercial Grade Brass Portafilters

The Vetrano 2B comes with two high quality, commercial grade, brass portafilters that provide outstanding temperature stability and long lasting durability. The portafilters are 58mm and are also coated with chrome for additional heat stability.

Dual Manometer / Pressure Controller

A dual manometer monitors the pressure in the boiler. When there are drops in pressure, the manometer recognizes those changes and turns the heating element on to stabilize the boiler pressure. Users can easily monitor the pressure control through a front mounted gauge.

Recommended Use

Best for home or office use with the ability to produce about 20 shots an hour
